About the Role
Who We Are:
We are a design and build firm based in Portsmouth, Rhode Island that creates amazing high-end landscapes throughout coastal New England. From site planning to finished stonework and plantings, we design, build, and maintain spaces that feel timeless, intentional, and uniquely tailored to each property.
Our field operations team is the heartbeat of the company, coordinating daily logistics, supporting crews in the field, and ensuring every project runs smoothly from start to finish.
Your Day & Team Looks Like:
Your day starts at 6:30 AM at our Portsmouth office overseeing crew meetings, verifying assignments, and making sure trucks and materials are ready to roll out on time. You’ll spend your mornings setting up job sites, coordinating deliveries, and checking in with crew leads across our construction, fine gardening, enhancement, and maintenance divisions.
Throughout the day, you’ll manage field schedules, monitor progress, and help troubleshoot challenges as they arise. You’ll maintain constant communication with project managers, designers, and the administrative team to ensure operations stay on track. You’ll also inspect finished work, uphold company standards, and help crews problem-solve with professionalism and precision.
This role is highly active and people-focused — perfect for someone who enjoys leadership, organization, and keeping a lot of moving parts running in sync.
You Are:
A strong communicator and natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You’re organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple crews while maintaining clear priorities. You value efficiency, quality, and professionalism in every part of your workday.
