About the Role
Landscape Architect
Hanley Landscape Services is a leading landscape design, construction, and landscape care firm servicing areas across New England, with a focus on coastal Rhode Island, is seeking a Landscape Architect to join our award-winning team.
As a landscape architect at Hanley, you'll work with homeowners designing and estimating landscapes. You'll be the point of contact for clients from the start to finish of their design build.
Position Description
Supervise drafting and rendering of design solutions by others
Draft, design and render design solutions. We have a variety of design programs at your disposal, including StructureStudios, VectorWorks, Lumion, and SketchUp.
Estimate construction costs and create contracts
Sell design and construction work
Create construction documents
Create stunning, attractive, and functional landscapes
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program and ability to be licensed in the state of RI
3+ years landscape design experience working with high-end residential customers
Proficiency in LA software (your choice between Vectorworks & StructureStudios, AutoCAD if using Lumion).
Have a strong knowledge of fundamental design principals and an elevated aesthetic
Prior sales or extensive client service experience
Excellent design and presentation skills
Must have a valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
