About the Role
Who We Are:
We are a design and build firm based in Portsmouth, Rhode Island that creates pretty cool high-end landscapes throughout coastal New England. From site planning to finished stonework and plantings, we design, build, and maintain spaces that feel timeless, intentional, and uniquely tailored to each property.
Our enhancement team bridges the gap between maintenance and construction, tackling cleanups, landscape improvements, and special projects that keep our properties looking their best year-round.
Your Day & Team Looks Like:
Your day starts at 6:45 AM at our Portsmouth office with a team meeting and vehicle load-up. You’ll spend most of your day outdoors, moving between residential and commercial properties to perform seasonal cleanups, plantings, mulching, edging, and general landscape improvements.
You’ll often work alongside our fine gardening team, assisting with pruning, planting, and detailed maintenance, or support our construction crews with smaller enhancement projects like bed expansions or feature installs. Every day looks different!
You Are:
Someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work and takes pride in transforming spaces. You’re reliable, detail-oriented, and like seeing visible progress at the end of the day. You work well in a team, handle physical work with ease, and stay organized even when the job site is busy. Experience in landscaping or general labor is a plus, but we’ll train anyone with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
Responsibilities Include:
Performing seasonal cleanups including leaf removal, cutting back perennials, and debris hauling.
Assisting with edging, mulching, planting, and general landscape improvements.
Supporting fine gardening teams with pruning, weeding, and maintenance tasks.
Operating small equipment such as trimmers, blowers, and wheelbarrows safely and efficiently.
Loading and unloading materials, tools, and debris each day.
Maintaining clean and organized trucks, trailers, and job sites.
Working collaboratively with crew members and supervisors to complete tasks on time.

1–3 years of experience in landscaping.
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
