About the Role
Who We Are:
We are a design and build firm based in Portsmouth, Rhode Island that creates pretty cool high-end landscapes throughout coastal New England. From site planning to finished stonework and plantings, we design, build, and maintain spaces that feel timeless, intentional, and uniquely tailored to each property.
Our maintenance team keeps those spaces looking their best year-round, combining precision, care, and teamwork to uphold the level of detail Hanley is known for.
Your Day & Team Looks Like:
Your day starts at 6:45 AM at our Portsmouth office with a quick team meeting before heading out with your crew. You’ll help load mowers, trimmers, blowers, and everything needed for the day, then travel to residential and commercial properties throughout coastal Rhode Island.
You’ll mow, edge, trim, and blow off properties with precision and care, working as part of a tight-knit team that values efficiency, communication, and quality. Your goal each day is simple: leave every property looking its best.
You Are:
Someone who loves being outdoors, takes pride in clean, detailed work, and enjoys working as part of a team. You’ve got experience operating mowers, trimmers, and blowers, and you know what a well-finished property should look like. You show up ready to work, stay organized, and keep things moving efficiently. Experience in landscaping or property maintenance is a plus, but we’ll train motivated candidates who share our attention to detail and strong work ethic.

Mowing, trimming, edging, and blowing off lawns at residential and commercial properties.
Operating and maintaining equipment such as zero-turn mowers, trimmers, and blowers.
