On-Call Snow Shoveler

Hanley Landscape Design is hiring on-call snow shovelers to assist our snow operations during winter storms.

This is an as-needed position, with most help needed during larger snow events. Having another job is completely fine as long as you can meet the availability requirements below.

Pay

• $30/hour minimum

• 6-hour minimum pay per call-in

Requirements

• Available 24/7, 7 days per week during snow events

• Able to report with approximately 3–4 hours' notice

• Reliable transportation to Portsmouth, RI

• Able to shovel snow and perform physical outdoor work for extended periods

• Willing to work in cold, snow, wind, and overnight conditions

• Reliable and able to report when called

• Must have appropriate winter clothing and footwear

Hours are weather-dependent and not guaranteed. Most call-ins occur during major or prolonged snow events.
